Who Can Apply: The C.W. “Mac” McClellan Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 by a group of Mac’s friends to honor his service to his community in general, and the Republican Party in particular. Mac McClellan always had a keen interest in history and politics and this scholarship is meant to assist a student from Emmet County, preferably in the study of political science and/or history.
- High school senior graduating from an Emmet County high school; planning to attend a college or university at least half time.
- Selection based on scholastic ability and citizenship.
- Some weight will be given to financial need.
- Preference will be given to students with an interest in the study of political science or history.
