- Forging a new path for one’s family takes courage, determination, and resilience. First-generation students are forced to overcome a multitude of obstacles in order to reach the same outcomes as their peers, and in doing so, they’re able to open opportunities for the rest of their families.
- This scholarship aims to honor the life of Jose Prado by supporting students who are the first in their families to pursue a college degree.
- Any Hispanic first-generation undergraduate student may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
