- Charlotte Emery was a devoted fifth-grade teacher who went beyond just teaching in the classroom.
- Charlotte was the epitome of Black Girl Magic and Black Excellence, teaching her students life lessons that stuck with them for decades to follow. Charlotte deeply cared about her students and always made sure they felt loved and supported.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the legacy of Charlotte Emery by uplifting Black girls and women so they can succeed in life and flourish.
- Any Black, female, first-generation high school senior or undergraduate student pursuing a two or four-year degree with at least a 2.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship.
Submission: To apply, submit a 400-600 word essay OR a short video telling us about your definition of Black Girl Magic/Black excellence and how you empower others.
