Who Can Apply:
- The Colleen Farrell Gerleman Scholarship was established in 1993 by Ms. Gerleman to benefit Lincoln students. Colleen Farrell Gerleman was an active and valuable member of the Lincoln Community Foundation’s Educational Assistance Committee (EAC) for more than 15 years. The EAC was a volunteer committee that assisted the Foundation in selecting scholarship recipients. As a result of her experience on the committee and meeting hundreds of worthy young people, she established this scholarship fund.
- To apply, you must be a current graduating senior at a public or private high school in Lincoln, Nebraska who demonstrates academic success in high school and/or college studies. The applicant must be pursuing undergraduate studies at a university or college in Nebraska. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. Previous Colleen Farrell Gerleman Scholarship recipients may reapply in subsequent years, but must complete the full application.
Submission: High school or college transcript(s) (copies of transcripts are acceptable) and the first page of your FAFSA Report. High school seniors must submit their high school transcript; high school graduates need only submit their college transcripts.
