Who Can Apply: To be eligible for a Speech or Debate Scholarship, you must be an incoming first-year or transfer student who has been accepted to Concordia College, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (non-weighted), and have exhibited proficiency in speech or debate. The initial screening will be based on the short Speech or Debate Scholarship application, which includes a forensics resume and brief statement related to your forensics accomplishments.

Other Information: Concordia College is a private, liberal arts college located in Moorhead, MN. Concordia debaters regularly attend tournaments such as those sponsored by the U. of Kentucky, Harvard U, Wake Forest U, Northwestern, the U. of Southern California, and the U. of Texas. Concordia debaters have qualified for the National Debate Tournament 29 times.
