- Students who exemplify the values of service and engagement are future leaders who will make great contributions to society.
- While it can feel difficult to make one’s mark on the world at a young age, getting involved in the community is a great way to start. Community service instills positive values and can make a great difference in the lives of others and the functioning of society as a whole.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are passionate about making the world a better place through their future careers.
- Any high school senior who is an underrepresented minority with community service experience and at least a 3.0 GPA and is from the state of Texas may apply for this scholarship.
