Who Can Apply: This scholarship was established by legendary GHS alumni, Deshaun Watson, as a way to help students from his hometown of Gainesville, Georgia, further their education. Consideration will be given to applicants who have shown participation in extracurricular activities, volunteering, or have been employed during high school. Two scholarships will be awarded in 2024 in the amount of $2,000 each.
Criteria for this scholarship:
- Graduating Gainesville High School senior
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school as a full-time student
