- Many bright young women demonstrate a passion for learning but don’t have the financial means necessary to access the books and resources they need for their academic success.
- As college becomes increasingly expensive, a degree is less and less attainable for the average student. These financial hurdles are particularly high for students from low-income backgrounds who likely will have little or no monetary assistance from their families when it comes time to enroll in school.
- This scholarship seeks to support young women pursuing higher education by helping to cover the cost of essential reading materials and other necessities.
- Any female undergraduate student who is a first-generation college student and a low-income individual may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
