- Dr. Reece is a single mother who taught in prisons, inner-city schools, and online to help struggling students graduate. Wherever she feels that she is needed, she goes. Dr. Reece is a lifelong learner who is passionate about helping those in need and encouraging them to pursue their dreams.
- This scholarship aims to continue the legacy of Dr. Reece by supporting budding teachers who will educate the next generation.
- Any low-income undergraduate or graduate student pursuing teaching or education may apply for this scholarship.
