Who Can Apply:
- Students from North Carolina planning to study at the undergraduate or graduate level at Virginia Tech are eligible, with a preference given to a student from Watauga County.
- The scholarship will be awarded to a student who exhibits academic excellence, leadership, personal effort and good citizenship. Financial need will be considered if there are equally matched applicants, with the student with greater need being awarded the scholarship.
- Scholarships for undergraduate study are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors. Scholarships for graduate study shall be awarded to any entering or existing graduate student.
