Who Can Apply: This $500 scholarship was established in memory of John Mirande, a longtime high school teacher and coach. He was very supportive of El Dorado High School, active in restarting the Booster Club, and supported many community projects, and he did all of these things quietly and effectively.

• Other: Applicant must have participated in four years of high school sports, not necessarily the same sport.
