Who Can Apply:
- Being a single mom is a challenging yet rewarding career.
- Having the courage and motivation to continue your education as a single mother is a remarkable achievement. And yet, when taking care of a young child on your own, the cost of living can be very expensive. With schooling already expensive in itself, adding that to your load as a single parent can be a huge burden. To help relieve some of this stress, the Empowering Mothers Scholarship for Single Moms will award a single mom who showcases perseverance through all of the obstacles life has thrown at them. The goal of this scholarship is to show single moms that there are always people out there who want to help you succeed.
- Students of any education level are eligible to apply if they are single mothers and current students.
Submission: To apply, write about what motivates you to continue your education and what challenges you’ve faced in pursuing education as a single mother.
