Arizona Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (AzLEAP)

Amount: Maximum $2,500/year – average amount awarded is $1,000/academic year

Math, Science, Special Education Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program (MSSE)

Amount: Maximum $7,000/academic year forgiveness loan

The Award Is: Renewable
Award Is Open To: Students who have completed 60 college credits toward a bachelor’s degree meant to attain licensure as a math, science or special education teacher.

Other Requirements: Teachers must enter an agreement with Arizona Commission for Post-secondary Education (ACPE) to teach in an Arizona public school in a term equal to the number of years of loan received plus one year

Dorrance Scholarship Programs

Amount: Up to $10,000

The Award Is: Renewable
Award Is Open To: Undergraduate students who are the first in their families to attend college with a minimum 3.0 GPA, SAT score of 1040 or composite ACT score
of 22 (excluding writing score in both instances), and who demonstrate financial need.

Student Attends School In: Arizona State University-Tempe, Northern Arizona University-Flagstaff, or University of Arizona-Tucson
