Nebraska Loan Repayment Program for Medical Professionals

Other Comments: This program is open to Nebraska residents accepted for admission into an accredited medical school or to a physicians assistant program in the state. The recipient must agree to practice primary care medicine in an area of the state designated by the commission as medically under-served. Three-Year practice obligation. Communities with in shortage areas must apply to become approved loan repayment sites, and must agree to provide an equal match to state dollars (up to $10,000 per year for up to three years) The local match can come from any source.
