Ohio Safety Officers College Memorial Fund

Amount: Full tuition and fees

Award Is Open To: Full-time or part-time students who are the children or spouses of someone killed in line of duty while serving in U.S. armed services during Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom or another combat zone designated by the President. Must not be eligible for Ohio War Orphans Scholarship.

Ohio War Orphans Scholarships

Amount: 93% Tuition/fees for public institution, $5,575 for private institution

Award Is Open To: Full-time students under the age of 25 who are the children of a deceased or severely disabled armed services Ohio veteran who served during a declared war or conflict.

Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program (NEALP)

Amount: Up to 100% Loan Cancellation

The Award Is: Renewable
Award Is Open To: Full-time or part-time students attending or accepted to postsecondary institution who intend to work in Ohio upon graduation.  To receive 100% loan cancellation, recipient must serve as full-time nurses for five years or as full-time nursing instructors for four years.
