Who Can Apply:
- The purpose of the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture Rising College Junior/Senior Scholarship for Agriculture is to assist outstanding students who have been pursuing an academic career focusing on agriculture and who have exhibited leadership skills for active involvement in the agriculture sector while in college. The Foundation will award 10 scholarships of $2,000 each.
- Students submitting an application must be a Georgia resident majoring in agriculture and environmental sciences, family and consumer sciences or a related agriculture field. They must be a sophomore or junior with at least two semesters of college work remaining to receive their undergraduate degree from a unit of The University System of Georgia, Berry College or Emmanuel College, OR any accredited college/university in Georgia with an agriculture program. Applicants must be engaged in leadership activities in college, and must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
