- This scholarship aims to honor the legacy of Hector L. Minott Sr. by supporting African American students who have overcome obstacles and are pursuing a higher education degree.
- Any African American graduate student or undergraduate in their third or fourth year majoring in health sciences or related program pursuing a medical degree may apply for this scholarship.
