Who Can Apply:
- Calling all Illinois students – this one’s for you! If you’re passionate about your education and need some assistance to help you reach your goals, the Illinois Horizon Scholars Award could help you get there. This $1,000 scholarship is open to all high school, college, and graduate students currently residing or attending school in Illinois.
- To be considered for this award, applicants must submit an essay describing a person who has inspired them to take meaningful action in their life. Applicants should describe the activity or project that resulted from this inspiration and explain its significance to them.
