- Individuals who have been victims of crime bring invaluable insights to the table and can channel their experiences into a driving force for systemic change.
- Their contributions can foster a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system and spearhead advancements in criminal justice reform, turning their negative experiences into positive change for the world through their careers in relevant fields.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who have overcome trauma and are using their experiences to impact victim’s rights laws.
- Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who has overcome trauma or adversity and is pursuing a career that can impact victim’s rights laws, such as law, pre-law, or criminology, may apply for this scholarship. However, students who have work experience are preferred.
Submission: To apply, tell us about your experience overcoming adversity, how you think your experience has prepared you to serve victims in the criminal justice field, what your career goals are, and how you plan to make a difference.
