Who Can Apply:
- Kenneth G. Tanner was raised in the White Center community and was a kind soul with a special ability to connect with everyone he met.
- Ken’s love for learning brought him joy, and he loved to have conversations about his many topics of interest, including dogs, sports, cooking, and science. He did not have the opportunity to attend college, but he believed that everyone should have the chance to do so.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Kenneth G. Tanner by making college more affordable and accessible so aspiring students can fulfill their dreams.
- Any high school student at Evergreen High School graduating in 2026 in Washington may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have at least a 3.0 GPA and if they will attend a two or four-year college. First-generation college students are strongly encouraged to apply.
