- LeadHer Learning believes that education should be a right, not just a privilege afforded to a select few students from comfortable financial backgrounds.
- However, for many students, especially female students, college is not accessible. No girl should be deprived of her education because of her gender, geographical location, or economic status. When young women are deprived of academic opportunities, future generations lose out on their mentorship and their career contributions.
- This scholarship seeks to support women who are passionate about pursuing higher education so they can overcome any obstacles in their way.
- Any female undergraduate student who is pursuing a degree in STEM who has volunteering experience and who strives to be a leader may apply for this scholarship opportunity if she is a first-generation college student.
