Lewis Ohana Scholarship (Deadline: November 2, 2025)

July 1, 2025 By The FinancialAidFinder Scholarship Team

Who Can Apply:

  • Today, many students from diverse backgrounds often lack access to the same educational opportunities as their peers. The rising costs of college education are a significant barrier; as tuition fees continue to escalate, countless students find themselves compelled to take out substantial loans to finance their schooling. Unfortunately, this financial burden can leave graduates grappling with crippling debt that can last for decades, making it challenging to embark on their careers and achieve financial stability.
  • The growing student loan crisis has created an environment where some individuals feel discouraged from pursuing higher education altogether. There is a sense of uncertainty around the return on investment of a college degree, leading many to question whether the sacrifices required for education are worth the potential long-term consequences of debt. This scholarship has been created to provide valuable support and resources to students who aspire to pursue advanced education despite these challenges.
  • This scholarship is open to all high school seniors in Virginia, with a particular emphasis on applicants who reside in the Hampton Roads area. Our goal is to empower students from diverse backgrounds to realize their dreams and further their education without the heavy burden of financial constraints holding them back.
