The training and competition schedule can be difficult, especially when a student is also committed to their schoolwork. Splitting one’s time between studying and wrestling can leave little energy for socializing, fun, or other hobbies. As a result, students who remain committed to their dual lives often show great sacrifice and focus.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are balancing their scholastic responsibilities with a passion for wrestling.
- Any high school senior in Florida who is a varsity wrestler may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants who have at least a 3.0 GPA are preferred, as are those who want to attend a Florida college or university.
