Who Can Apply: This scholarship was established by Lucy Nisbet’s family as a memorial to her dedication to education and music. These $1,000 music scholarships honor Ms. Nisbet by providing an opportunity for multiple hard-working, college-bound students from Oak Ridge AND Ponderosa High School who have been in the music programs at their high schools. and are seeking to further their music education.
• GPA at time of application: 3.0+
• Must attend Oak Ridge or Ponderosa High School for their senior year, minimum and be involved in the music programs at those schools.
• College Requirement: Any post-secondary education program: 4-year university or community college
• One Letter of recommendation from a music teacher, volunteer organization or community mentor.
