Who Can Apply: Student must be enrolled in either the doctoral, master’s program, or Photonic Science and Engineering bachelor’s program in the College of Optics and Photonics.
Preference for students who:
- Have active membership in an approved SDES-administered organization open to all whose mission seeks to advance the needs of underrepresented and/or marginalized groups.
- Have active membership in an organization whose mission is to advance in a predominantly female, SDES-administered organization (i.e. Women in Optics and Photonics)
- Returning students or students who have had a gap in their education and students who share a varied cultural perspective to enhance the education of other students and the excellence of the University.
