Who Can Apply: Must be enrolled as a full-time (12 credits), degree-seeking junior admitted into the Elementary Education program; Sincere desire to teach for more than five years; Demonstrated financial need based on federal financial aid standards as determined by the University’s Financial Aid Office; GPA 3.0 or above Scholarship may be renewed, must re-apply each year and follow procedures; Preference for selection shall be given to previous MacDonnell scholars in good standing.
Submission: Please submit a typed personal statement (double spaced, two-page maximum) that describes your educational goals and tells how being a recipient of this scholarship will help you fulfill them. Please address your commitment to the teaching profession.
