Who Can Apply:
- Margot Bogner strived for excellence in all her endeavors.
- From her academic achievements, athletic competitions, charity events, and even simple tailgate parties, Margot desired to enjoy the most out of life and worked to help others accomplish the same. With a yearning to be an attorney she maintained a high GPA in her studies to achieve entry into law school, yet still found time to participate in annual events to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, two charities she gave her efforts towards. While in law school, she provided legal assistance to poverty-stricken clients, often with little compensation, so that they might have a better life. Margot believed that ‘empowered women empower women’ and lived this in her daily life. She was constantly surrounding herself with capable women in her Gamma Phi Beta sorority, her work life at the firm, and her personal life, motivating all to be the best versions of themselves and letting them help her grow as well.
- The Margot Bogner Memorial Scholarship seeks to honor her spirit by awarding a female student at Kansas State University who demonstrates the same aspirations for elevating the world in a similar manner that she did.
- Undergraduate female students are eligible to apply if they are attending Kansas State University, meet the GPA and community service requirements. Participation in Greek life or extracurricular activities/clubs is recommended.
