- Markus Koch was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who worked as a construction superintendent prior to his tragic passing in August, 2024.
- Markus was passionate about his work, and it was truly one of the greatest joys of his life. To make his work possible, Markus attended the University of Central Missouri and graduated with a degree in construction management. Through his 11 years of dedication to his trade, Markus worked as a field engineer, assistant superintendent, and superintendent on various commercial projects. Markus was passionate not just about construction, but about all of the trades that helped him do the job he loved doing every day.

- Any high school senior at Pea Ridge High School in Pea Ridge, Arkansas, may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants pursuing a degree or certification in construction management or a trade-related field are preferred.
