Who Can Apply:
- The tire retread industry is incredibly important to the U.S. economy and environment.
- Retreading saves end-users millions of dollars per year while also promoting sustainability by significantly reducing carbon emissions and reducing the use of natural resources. As with many industries, there is a struggle to find employees willing to learn a trade, and in turn, potential future employees find it challenging to pay for vocational school.
- In honor of Marvin Bozarth, an industry great who recently passed away, this scholarship aims to support students who are pursuing the transportation or automotive industry.
- Any current trade school student or high school student who will attend a trade school to pursue transportation or the automotive industry may apply for this scholarship.
