Who Can Apply:
- The children of service-oriented parents are often full of potential to carry forward the legacy of service established by their guardians.
- From a passion for educating others to a desire to help those facing emergency situations and beyond, there are many ways to get involved in public service. However, in order for students to unlock their futures, they must find a way to finance their pursuit of higher education. Lengthy degrees can come with high costs, from tuition to books to housing, which can be impossible for low and middle-income students to pay for on their own.
- This scholarship aims to support graduating students from service-oriented families who are pursuing higher education.
- Any high school senior at an Arizona public high school with at least a 3.5 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity if their parent has served as a teacher, law enforcement officer, or first responder for at least five years and if they plan to attend a four-year college or university. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, extracurricular involvement, and leadership experience.
Submission: To apply, tell us how having a parent in a service profession has impacted you and how receiving this scholarship would help you achieve your academic and professional goals.
