Who Can Apply: The purpose of the Merlin and Bernadine Peterson Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to high school seniors that previously attended Santa Fe Trail Middle School in Olathe, KS who would not otherwise be able to afford college.
- Are seniors in high school;
- Attending a two or four year college or trade school;
- Attended Santa Fe Trail Middle School in Olathe, KS; and
- Demonstrate financial need.
Submission:
- Please write an essay responding to at least two of the three following questions:
- 1) How has your family background affected the way you see the world?
- 2) Discuss a special attribute or accomplishment that sets you apart.
- 3) If you have the authority to change your school in a positive way, what specific changes would you make and why?
