Who Can Apply:
- Michael Passanita was a passionate cook and restaurant owner who passed away too soon.
- Michael believed in supporting locally grown food and herbs and offered cooking classes at his restaurant on Tuesdays when it was closed. In order to keep Michael’s legacy alive, the next generation of bright minds who are passionate about the culinary arts must be supported.
- This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Michael Passanita by helping students who are pursuing a degree in culinary arts.
- Any high school or undergraduate student in Pennsylvania who is pursuing a culinary degree may apply for this scholarship. Student must have work experience in the food service industry as well as an interest in supporting locally grown food or growing their own food or herbs.
