Who Can Apply:
- Everyone deserves someone who supports them, believes in their dreams, and is willing to invest in them and help them take the next step toward achieving those goals.
- The power of community should not be overlooked. Some of the most impactful individuals are those who encourage and uplift others, open doors, and remind everyone that their circumstances don’t have to determine the future. Being part of someone’s village has large ripple effects on the world. When you encourage even just one person, there is no telling what they may do and how large an impact they may make.
- This scholarship seeks to celebrate the power of community by supporting students who want to pursue higher education but would benefit from financial assistance in doing so.
- Any high school senior who is a resident of Massachusetts or Georgia may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate resilience, believe in themselves, value their community, and have big dreams for their future, especially those who recognize the importance of having a village that believes in them along the way.
Submission: To apply, tell us about a challenge that required you to persevere, how you overcame the situation, what having a village means to you, and how you hope to be part of someone’s village in the future.
