Who Can Apply: Hord Coplan Macht is an integrated firm, in downtown Denver, offering planning, architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and environmental graphic design. We combine the goals of creating functional yet inspiring spaces with the principles of innovation, thoughtful design, technical strength, collaboration and financial responsibility to uphold our clients’ best interests and deliver high performing environments for the future.

We are an award-winning design firm priding ourselves on leading a collaborative programming and design process that results in beautiful, environmentally responsible, user-friendly spaces. Our process is guided by the belief that all successful projects start by listening (and hearing) to what users and stakeholders really need and ultimately desire. Our goal with this scholarship is to support students working toward a long- term career in the Architecture profession.

• Complete the CCD scholarship application
• Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA
• Students who are currently enrolled in the Architectural Studies Program and working toward a long-term career in Architecture.
• Minority groups or DACA students encouraged to apply
• Submit pictures and short narrative of your favorite project.
• Write a short essay (2-3 paragraphs) about what inspires you to pursue a profession in Architecture
• This will be a scholarship for $2,500/student/year, available to two CCD students.
• HCM is willing to provide optional mentorship, shared networking communities within the Architecture community, and provide professional development guidance through resume and portfolio review.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress at CCD
• Accept the scholarship’s terms & conditions through CCD’s scholarship portal by Census Date.
• Write a “Thank You” letter and upload it through CCD’s scholarship portal by Census Date.
• Upload a digital image of yourself
• Submit the Photo/Video Release Form

Submission: Please write a short essay (2-3 paragraphs) about what inspires you to pursue a profession in Architecture.

Deadline: May 15, 2024

Amount: $2,500
