Our process is guided by the belief that all successful projects start by listening (and hearing) to what users and stakeholders really need and ultimately desire. Our goal with this scholarship is to support students working toward a long- term career in the Architecture profession.
• Complete the CCD scholarship application
• Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA
• Students who are currently enrolled in the Architectural Studies Program and working toward a long-term career in Architecture.
• Minority groups or DACA students encouraged to apply
• Submit pictures and short narrative of your favorite project.
• Write a short essay (2-3 paragraphs) about what inspires you to pursue a profession in Architecture
• This will be a scholarship for $2,500/student/year, available to two CCD students.
• HCM is willing to provide optional mentorship, shared networking communities within the Architecture community, and provide professional development guidance through resume and portfolio review.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress at CCD
• Accept the scholarship’s terms & conditions through CCD’s scholarship portal by Census Date.
• Write a “Thank You” letter and upload it through CCD’s scholarship portal by Census Date.
• Upload a digital image of yourself
• Submit the Photo/Video Release Form
