Who Can Apply:
- Patricia was our loving mother and a teacher who specialized in reading instruction. She passed away in December 2021. An avid reader, Patricia graduated from Marywood College with a bachelor’s degree in Education. This scholarship seeks to honor Patricia Ann Whelan and her love of teaching children to read. In her memory, Patricia’s family has created the Patricia Ann Whelan Memorial Scholarship to support an undergraduate student following a similar path to Patricia.
- Undergraduate education majors are eligible to apply.
