- The Pearlie M. Westbrooks Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of a beloved activist, educator and grandmother. Pearlie was passionate about giving back to her community however she could. This scholarship is open to high school seniors from the state of Mississippi who personify Pearlie’s deep-seated passion for community service.
