- Red Cause Inc. is proud to support students pursuing careers in healthcare and public health. We believe investing in future healthcare professionals is one of the most effective ways to strengthen communities and expand access to care. This scholarship helps reduce the financial burden for students committed to serving others through nursing, medicine, allied health, public health, and other healthcare-related fields.
- This scholarship is intended for students in San Antonio and other South Texas communities who are dedicated to improving community health. High school seniors as well as current undergraduate or trade/vocational school students may apply. Applicants must plan to pursue a career in healthcare and should demonstrate academic dedication, leadership, compassion, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the field.
- Preference may be given to students with financial need, first-generation college students, and those with volunteer, caregiving, or community service experience.
Submission: To apply, describe a community health challenge you have faced or witnessed and explain how your healthcare studies will help you address it.
