- Ricky Noles was a beloved father who worked hard his whole life and was proud of his children, their values, and their accomplishments.
- Ricky was also a firm believer in Christianity and held a position at his church. He graduated college with a degree in automotive mechanics. Beyond his interest in automotive mechanics, he also owned a pulp wood business. He had three daughters graduate nursing school, and had one daughter become a teacher. His son followed in his footsteps and graduated with a degree in automotive mechanics and owns his own business.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Ricky Noles by supporting students who share the passions of him and his family.
- Any high school senior in Randolph County, Alabama, who is Christian and pursuing a degree in automotive mechanics, nursing, foresty or teaching may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants planning to attend Southern Union State Community College or Jacksonville State University are preferred.
