Who Can Apply:
- While often not talked about or highlighted, the mining industry remains a critical source of jobs, materials, and energy in the U.S.
- Effective, efficient, and safe mining requires skill and strategy in order to extract and process minerals and to restore land when the project is completed. Business expertise and knowledge in ecosystem science are both useful foundations for mining careers and equip students with the skills they need to flourish in any role in the mining industry.
- This scholarship seeks to support students who are passionate about making a difference in the mining industry.
- Any undergraduate student attending Colorado Mountain College Leadville may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants with at least a 3.0 GPA, those with an interest in the mining industry, and those pursuing degrees in business or ecosystem science are preferred.
