Who Can Apply:
- First-generation, low-income (FGLI) students face a unique set of struggles when pursuing higher education.
- The lack of college cultural capital, the lack of educational resources, and overall struggle are not easy obstacles to overcome. These issues are especially heightened when a student identifies as BIPOC as well. Higher education often seems out of reach for many individuals in the Latin American community.
- This scholarship aims to support underprivileged Latin American students who are dedicated to pursuing higher education.
- Any first-generation, low-income Latin American high school senior who is planning to attend a four-year university may apply for this scholarship.
Submission: To apply, tell us about yourself, your passions, how you plan to make a difference through your career, and how being a first-generation Latin-American student has impacted your goals.
