Rose wanted every child to be able to become whatever they dreamed of, understanding that financial circumstances often stand in the way.
- This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Rose M. Jackson by supporting students from her district as they pursue their dreams of higher education.
- Any high school senior in the Detroit Public Schools Community District who will pursue a two or four-year college degree may apply for this scholarship opportunity, but applicants who want to attend HBCUs are preferred.
