Who Can Apply: The Roy and Linda Funk Scholarship Fund was established to assist students in the pursuit of additional schooling. This scholarship is available to students from the I-70 corridor on the Eastern Plains of Colorado.
Applicant must:
– Be a current or former student from the following high schools: Bennett, Strasburg, Byers, Deer Tail, and Agate
– Have a 3.0 GPA or above.
– Intend to pursue a certificate or degree related to one of the following fields: agriculture, ranching, veterinary sciences, forestry, oceanography, marine biology, or teaching
Submission: Please write an essay (500 word maximum) that describes your ambitions and goals, the educational steps you plan to take to reach those goals, reasons why you feel you merit consideration for a scholarship award, and any other information you feel will accurately present yourself to the selection committee. Please do not include your name in your response.
