- Many students share Sarah’s passion for graphic design or other arts, but it can be difficult to pursue an education in the arts. Young students are often dissuaded from pursuing creative fields as teachers, parents, and counselors often push them towards other industries and encourage them to treat their artistic endeavors as hobbies rather than professions.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Sarah E. Nardandrea by supporting students who share her love for the arts and helping them turn their skills into livelihoods.
- Any high school senior who is a resident of Volusia County, Florida, may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they are looking to pursue a major in the arts.
