Description: Scholarship America’s Dream Award is a renewable scholarship designed to help students keep moving toward a degree.
Dream Award scholarships include general scholarships, STEM-specific scholarships (for study in science, technology, engineering, and math-related majors), and the World Journal Dream Award Scholarship for Chinese American students. Financial need will be considered in determining award amounts.
Who Can Apply: To qualify, students must be at least 17 years of age, current college undergraduates from any U.S. state or high school seniors from Bayfield WI or Cleveland MN planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2024-25 academic year, and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).
Finally, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident Card), or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA).
Scholarship Amount: Up to $10,000
Awards are renewable up to three additional years or until a first bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first, on the basis of full-time enrollment, satisfactory academic performance, and availability of funding.
