College can offer some of the unforgettable memories of your life. This is the time when you make life long best friends – and maybe even meet your future spouse – plus you might learn a little molecular biology, Kensian economic philosophy or advanced art theory along the way! These good memories will last a life time. The memories that you do not want to linger are piles of loans, debt, or the long hours of menial work to pay off tuition.
Of course you can avoid all of that by starting now to apply for scholarships. Whether you are a writer, a leader, an activist, a scholar, there are many different scholarships out there. So pick the ones that suit you best, and enjoy every second – without any bad memories to contend with!
1. Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Competition: $1,000 – 15,000
