- Teachers have the unique opportunity to shape the minds of the next generation and to inspire the leaders of tomorrow.
- Selma Luna was an impactful educator who worked as an elementary school teacher. She had a passion for education and for inspiring the future leaders of the world. Selma spent more than 20 years working in the Northside Independent School District and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.
- This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Selma Luna by supporting students who are also passionate about education.
- Any high school senior or undergraduate student who has at least a 3.0 GPA and is pursuing an education degree may apply for this scholarship.
