Who Can Apply: Open to all students enrolled in accredited academic institutions, and high school seniors who are enrolling upon graduation. Students of all majors and intended majors are welcome to participate. Applicants must be residents of the United states. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Awards will be sent directly to the financial aid office of the institution of the finalist’s enrollment.
Submission: Please submit a 500-1000 word essay about the most interesting item you have ever received in the mail. This can be a letter or postcard, a package or gift, an advertisement, or any other parcel delivered by mail. Explain why this article of mail was so fascinating to you and how it has impacted your life.
Deadline: April 30 and September 30 annually. Deadlines will remain the same annually; however, prompts are subject to change with each submission period.
