Who Can Apply:
- College is an important experience and qualification for many students who have ambitious career goals, but many students face roadblocks that their peers don’t have to worry about.
- Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) grants are meant to boost the number of low-income students who are able to attend college. Similarly, federal TRIO programs are designed to uplift disadvantaged students, including low-income students, first-generation college students, and those with disabilities.
- This scholarship aims to support students who are underserved so they can have opportunities for higher education and professional success.
- Any high school senior or undergraduate student with a 2.5 minimum GPA who is a member of GEAR UP or TRIO may apply for this scholarship opportunity. One award will go to a high school senior, and one will go to a college student.
