Who Can Apply: The fund is established in memory and celebration of Kris Newsom and Kay Guleke and their battles against cancer.
- Applicants must be graduating seniors at an Austin or Eanes ISD High School and be planning to attend 4 year university or 2 year community college.
- Applicants must have experienced the financial and physical stresses of living with a parent or legal guardian who has lost their battle with cancer or who is currently fighting a battle with cancer.
- Applicants must demonstrate strong community involvement.
- Academics to be reviewed as a sign of success in higher education, not a top qualification.
