- In this current political moment, it is more important than ever to provide opportunities for transgender individuals to seek higher education. Earning a degree often gives an individual the skills and authority they need to become a leader, a mentor, and a changemaker.
- This scholarship seeks to support transgender students who are passionate about improving the world for those following in their footsteps.
- Any transgender or non-binary high school senior who has faced some kind of challenge or barrier to obtaining education may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they desire to make the world better for the next generation of trans people.
